Where we began

The Kimchi Company was founded in 2019 by two Australian-Korean’s who wanted bring Kimchi made in Korea directly to Australians.

We found that an astounding love and passion for Kimchi and Kimchi lovers wanted to get closer to the authentic experience.

Not only do we want to bring delicious tangy and umami Kimchi to Australia, we want to help make Kimchi aware to more people and share the goodness.

What makes our kimchi different?

We make our Kimchi with ingredients only sourced from Korea, from the Chung-Cheong-Do region which is a mountainous region and is most untouched and has mainly remained as nature reserves. Because of the geographic location, our most distinguishing feature is how we use ‘High Altitude’ cabbage that prevents the Kimchi from going ‘soggy’ and maintain it’s structural integrity where customers provide the most positive feedback.

Our Kimchi follows traditional methods and is handcrafted step by step. We believe the extra love helps make our Kimchi more delicious!
